The Game Of Bagatelle and trumps bagatelle is one of the Jaques Families Favourite traditional games. Bagatelle is great fun for all the famliy!Jaques' original design Hit-a-Pin Bagatelle is based on an original design as supplied personally to Queen Victoria over 100 years ago further enforcing Jaques wonderful history and its links with the Royal family. The Queen was heard to be delighted with her bagatelle board game. The Jaques Bagatelle board devolved from efforts to bring out more Jaques Indoor Games. History records the existence of table-based games back to the 15th Century, and a 19th-century Jaques Bagatelle is preserved in the Superb Jaques Museum. While some Bagatelle board games used side-rail pockets, more modern Bagtelle boards became smaller and had the holes placed in strategic areas in the middle of the table. This is what gave Jaques the Idea for their Hit-a-Pin Bagatelle game.Jaques Bagatelle board is now the Standard Bagatelle board games board design for playing Bagatelle board all around the world.Expertly and beautifully crafted to regulation size and layout, each set features superb hardwood bagatelle board construction and Mahogany finish to the bagatelle.
